Tekmo
http://www.gamegrep.com/news/5434-halo_3_d...ints_yet_again/ http://www.gamegrep.com/news/5430-halo_3_r...ive_resolution/ http://www.gamegrep.com/other/5422-microso...lo_3_reviewers/ I've been there for the whole Halo / Halo 2 scene. It's the same shit, different box. There are a lot better alternatives out there than Halo 3 for MP. ie: Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead. Now, for the 360, ok sure you're probably not going to find any better FPS but it's not the greatest game evar.
Joker
Well, I was saying more along the lines of FPS shooter toward the "Coop revolution" LoL But you got me beat pulling out Contra.. but, definately.. Contra got loved up for hours at a time on my NES. I, also, think such games like Street Fighter/Mortal Combat and other games like Golden Axe or to step it up and have 'multiple players at once' ... uhm.. Shit.. what was the name of that game.. You could be a Fighter/Mage/Ranged attack.. you just walked around top-view.. they ended up making one for the 64 I want to say.. that was 3D.. 3rd person for each player that really gave it a new edge.. Ultimately came out as a 4 player Arcade game.. Gods I love arcade games.. so freakin' expensive though. Anywho.. Contra.. ha.. I love it. That's what I had heard about Madden.. and it puzzles me to why people would consistently buy the same game over and over and over and over again, honestly. More power to them, though. VaderOnIce
Gauntlet? I think you may be right. I think Gauntlet was first with 4 players. OH! Ikari Warriors? Remember THAT shit? As for MAdden, this year, through Live, there's this neat thing where you can watch game highlights and also, on Sundays, you will see real game scores on the bottom of your screen while you play (as long as you're connected to Live, of course). Not innovation, though. Just kinda neat.
Joker
Dude, Gauntlet.. exactly what I was thinking.. Never played Ikari Warriors, though. Name looks vaguely familiar. Sounds innovative enough, actually. There's some Racing SIMS out there that sport realistic standings and even have commentators come down to broadcast the game.. pretty crazy but certainly a move in the right direction of keeping everyone better together. Crilix
Just found this, a hilarious review, and it kind of tuches on what I think about the game. -Cril
