http://mozilla.org/ for the download. I never get IE supporters...

What's the point of using a browser that is outdated by a couple years, lacks more modern features such as built-in popup blocker/tabbed browsing, you have to turn off many of its "features" to make it even remotely safe to browse with, refuses to support up-to-date web standards, taints the web with its IE specific code and scripts, is full of security holes (MSJava, ActiveX), and is the largest avenue for spyware/keyloggers/exploits to end up on a user's system?

I doubt many Windows users ever got a choice for their first browser. Almost everyone starts out with IE and they get attached to it. How sad, for everyone... Websites should just quit supporting it and force Microsoft to update it to display things correctly.

"No matter how well they had protected themselves against viruses, spyware, and everything else in the past, they were still vulnerable to yet another flaw in Microsoft's browser."

new version of IE comming out soon with SP2

hmm, true. I dig firefox though, has some nice features. Check it out, if u feel so inclined to do so.

It's hard to break out of IE, it's the norm for internet browsing and probably the easiest to use.

I just find firefox much more superb, not to mention, no more pop-ups.

I started with Mozilla 1.1, then went on to Netscape until version 3 of IE came out, by which point it was far superior to netscape. There wasn't a browser even close to IE until probably 9 months ago.
