Judicator
Since the steampowered forums are down, I figured I'd start a thread for anyone having issues...eventually we can look around other forums and possibly find answers. My issue is when I load into the game, I get the splash screen for 3 seconds then I crash and get: Invalid property: DT_BaseAnimating/m_flPoseParameter (array of datatables). Cody
No mine loaded fine. I even started up just a 2 man server just to walk around the inviroment. That really sucks judi. Send a bug report and also look around the cs.net csnation and halflife2.net fourms for help.

EnglishBob
Other than an initial anti-aliasing error it is now working just fine for me.

Crilix
Well, I feel downright depressed. I baught CZ, and waited eagerly for the past few weeks to pass... And I can't play CS: S for 5 minutes without it crashing. http://www.fnfclan.com/uploads/uploads/emoticons/default_sad.png Sometimes the HUD disappears and the game freezes, or my monitor will go into stand-by mode while my whole computer locks up (I can't even Ctrl+Alt+Del), and sooo many more problems. I think this might be fixed when I upgrade from my 8500LE to my 9800 Pro, but... My brother bought the card and won't be back until the end of the month. And, by then, CS: S will probably be closed. *Sigh* Until then, I'll keep on restarting my computer, and playing with hopes that through some miracle, it'll last a wee bit longer than five minutes. -Cril http://www.fnfclan.com/uploads/uploads/emoticons/default_sad.png

Crilix
Hmm... That may be a good idea, I haven't reinstalled them in a while... HEck, I don't even know if I'm running the latest ones http://www.fnfclan.com/uploads/uploads/emoticons/default_tongue.png Thanks Vader, I'll look into that http://www.fnfclan.com/uploads/uploads/emoticons/default_wink.png -Cril
Judicator
I doubt it'll be over in a month, and this IS the "beta", which is when issues such as your's and mine get dealt with. After a quick scan on the forums, it looks like my problem can't be fixed client-side, so I'll wait for the beta to be updated with a fix. Congrats to those who it worked for, tho. Crilix
Yeah, I've already downloaded those, but I'm waiting for the go-ahead from my brother to install him (He's the tech of our computer). Well, actually I got my 9800 Pro today in the mail, and I would install it but I have no experience with hardware. I'd rather not do it, than risking gibbling up our whole system or frying our new card... -Cril
Dante15
Just open your side panel, put it in the agp slot, use the isntallation disk, and be happy http://www.fnfclan.com/uploads/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png
Colossus
you can recognise the agp slot by first the position on the motherboard. It is generally the top most slot for plug and play devices. It is also towards the middle of your motherboard. And the best hint of all ITS WHERE YOUR OTHER VIDEO CARD IS PLUGGED IN http://www.fnfclan.com/uploads/uploads/emoticons/default_tongue.png Dont use drivers from the disk use the generic windows drivers and install the omegas over top WAAY better. or if you dont trust em go to the respected sites in this case ati's homesite and get the LATEST drivers from it.
